Submissions Policy

The deadline for submitting news and pictures for the Courier is 5 p.m. the Monday before the Friday publication date. You may submit articles at any time. However, current events received prior to deadline will be considered before any information that is submitted, without the Publisher’s prior approval, after the deadline. Press releases must be e-mailed to be considered for publication.

Submitting Letters to the Editor

Letters to the editor must be brief and confined to a single subject. They must contain your name, address, and phone number, and must not exceed 150 words. Letters to the editor sent via U.S. mail must be typewritten and double-spaced for easy editing and laser scanning. The Florida Courier reserves the right to edit any letter, article, or other submission, and crop any photograph, for style and clarity. Materials will not be returned.
